NO ROAD is for those who live free in a wild Alaskan lifestyle. It is for those who hunt and trap untouched areas. It is for those who ski or snowboard unnamed mountains. It is for those who make their money from clean land and water with sustainable and renewable resources. It is for those who value wild places. It is for those who would rather not live surrounded by RVs and tourists. It is for those who wouldn’t trade their way of life to be able to drive to Costco or McDonalds. It is for those who are content with the area as it is. It is for Prince William Sound, Copper River and Delta, Copper River Watershed and Chugach Mountains. It is a tribute a tribute to a wild place, it’s animals, and those who live and have lived here. It is a statement of pride of our rivers, deltas, mountains, and islands. Our Area.
Since 2004, NO ROAD swag has been around in response to a push for a connecting road from Cordova to the rest of America’s road system. It has since grown into an easily recognizable slogan that voices regional pride and protection for endless reasons.
NO ROAD will keep you hooked up with regional issues. From the proposed road between Cordova and Chitina, to the Shepard Point Project and Carbon Mountain Mining, Trans-Alaska Pipeline info and more. We will keep you updated on things going on in the area. Check out the ‘Projects’ page. |
